Staffordshire LEADER

Businesses and community groups in rural areas to the south of Staffordshire Moorlands can apply for a minimum of £2,500 to £35,000

Grants are available up to 40% of total project costs.

It can fund these themes:

  1. 1. farm productivity and improvement
  2. 2. farm diversification, micro and small business support (including start up)
  3. 3. Rural tourism − new small tourist attractions, but usually not accommodation      conversions unless for disabled adaptations
  4. 4. Developing rural services
  5. 5. small scale culture and heritage developments and improvements
  6. 6. forestry improvements (woodland management).

Grants can only go to businesses located within the specific geographic area of the scheme (map below)

A new call for applications for themes 2, and 4 is now open with a deadline of 5th October 2018.
