Citizens Advice Cheadle and Leek
Citizens Advice Cheadle and Citizens Advice Leek have both announced that face-to-face advice services will be suspended for the foreseeable future.
However you can still contact them for help and advice by calling 0300 330 9061. This is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. You can also text 07800005037 at anytime with your name, contact details and postcode and they will get in touch and help with any problems.
People looking for advice on consumer issues (e.g. issues related to products or services you've purchased) can contact the Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 0808 223 1133.
Anyone seeking to make a new claim for Universal Credit should call the Universal Credit Help Line on 0800 1448444. Citizens Advice Leek will continue to help with claims for Universal Credit just call 0800 144 8444 or email advice@leekcab.cabnet.org.uk and they will respond as soon as possible.
Staffordshire County Council
Staffordshire County Council have created an area on their website which is full of information. If you need help or can help, are looking for advice on looking after your welfare whilst stopping home or are wanting resources for home schooling children take a look online.
Coronavirus Support Groups Map
We've created a map for people to use which shows the nearest support group to your address. Simply put your address in the box and select it from the list. Once you do this it will automatically show you the three closest groups to your location.
