Work to start on new Biddulph play area
Work is set to start this month on the £90,000 project to install a new play area at Halls Road in Biddulph.
Staffordshire Moorlands District Council has appointed HAGS/SMP to carry out the work which is expected to begin in mid-May and take around four weeks to complete.
Contemporary, challenging and accessible play equipment for children of all ages and new safety surfacing will be installed at the recreation ground.
Visitors to Halls Road are advised that there will be some disruption, mainly affecting an area of the public car park, whilst the work is carried out.
Keith Parker, Head of Operational Services at the Council, said: "We are pleased that work will soon be starting and in a few weeks we will have a fun play space for young people to enjoy. In the meantime, we'd like to thank people in advance for their patience and understanding whilst the work is carried out."
