Hoften's Cross Meadow
A 1.4 hectare meadow left for wildlife
Hoftens Cross Meadow Local Nature Reserve is a small, 1.4 hectare, area of meadow and scrub with open public access. The agriculturally unimproved meadow is managed for wildlife and designated a Site of Biological Importance.

Hoften's Cross Meadow, Cauldon Low ST10 3EU
Parking
Situated off the A52 Stoke-on-Trent to Ashbourne Road. The turning is opposite the Cross Inn at Cauldon Low with a first right to enter the small car park with space for 2 - 3 cars.

A wide range of wildflowers
- Meadow saxifrage and Marsh marigold in early spring
- Spectacular displays of Common spotted orchid
- Common twayblade and Greater butterfly orchid
Caring for the site

- Put your litter or dog waste in the bins provided
- Keep your dog under control - do not let it chase or worry wildlife
- Leave gates as you find them
