Welcoming Spaces
An inventory of warm and welcoming spaces across the Staffordshire Moorlands District. This page identifies venues that are offering a space for residents to access over the winter period.
As the cost of living crisis and energy price hikes continue, a number of charities, community groups and small businesses have committed to opening up their premises as 'Welcoming Spaces' where residents can go to keep warm.
Staffordshire Moorlands District Council is pulling together a District-wide list of available 'Welcoming Spaces' that residents can visit to keep warm this winter. The list provides venue details and where to find more information and it will be updated on a regular basis when new venues are identified and registered.
If you would like to register your Welcoming Space please contact us by emailing WelcomingSpaces-SMDC@staffsmoorlands.gov.uk
*Please note: Staffordshire Moorlands District Council is not responsible for the provision of or facilitation at these venues; the information provided is intended to identify places that are committed to supporting residents during these difficult times.
