Council granted an injunction to keep travellers away from Business Park in Biddulph
After travellers set up camp at Victoria Business Park in Knypersley Biddulph for the third time in twelve months, the Council has been granted an injunction to keep the travellers away from the area permanently.
The application was heard at Stoke County Court on 20 January, comes into force on Thursday 26 January 2023 and will remain in force until 25 January 2025. The injunction prevents anyone from parking up and staying overnight at the Business Park. Anyone who does so may find themselves arrested and brought before the court where they may be sent to prison, be fined or have assets seized.
Anyone who objects to the order can apply to the court to have the order discharged or varied but until such an application is made and granted the order must be complied with by everyone.
