What is MEIF?
The Midlands Engine Investment fund was a collaboration between the British Business Bank and 10 Local Enterprise Partner (LEP) areas - this included Stoke and Staffordshire which covers the Moorlands. MEIF was designed to provide greater support to the region's smaller businesses, accelerate economic growth and promote job creation - in line with the Government's Midlands Engine Strategy
The Midlands Engine Investment Fund has now completed its investment phase and is transitioning to the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II which launched in March 2024.
