How to make an appeal on a planning decision

If you disagree with a decision we've made, you can appeal against it. You can only make appeals on your own applications. All appeals are made to the Planning Inspectorate.

Find out more about appealing against a decision at GOV.UK website

Important information

If an appeal is submitted and proceeds under the Householder Appeals Service or  Minor Commercial Appeals Service, there is no opportunity for you to submit comments. We will however forward all representations made to us on the application to the Planning Inspectorate.  These will be considered by the Inspector when determining the appeal.

For all other appeals you may be able to make further representation and you will need to send these to the Planning Inspectorate usually within 4 weeks from the start date.  For more information on commenting on an appeal, visit the Planning Inspectorate website.
