Multiply Fully-funded Numeracy Courses
Help to improve workforce numeracy
Who are these courses for?
- Any businesses with their main base in Staffordshire
- Individuals that do not have a Level 4/GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths
- Groups of employees as long as they meet the above criteria
A number of training providers have been appointed to develop and offer courses including those below:
- Acacia Training
- Targeted at people who require develop technical numeracy skills to support their next career steps or to develop specific numeracy skills in the workplace

- Targeted at people engaging with education for the first time or have had a significant break from learning
- 45 learning hours with 30 hours of teaching and 15 hours of intensive 1-2-1 or small group work
- Particularly relevant for businesses in the health, social care and childcare sectors.

- Targeted at people that need a boost to their confidence before going onto qualifications or that have English as their second language
- Content based around the needs of employers, but can be formed around the application of functional maths in the workplace, e.g arithmetic, statistics, trigonometry and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet formulae, etc
- Delivered over one day in small groups, face to face or remotely

- Develop general and applied numeracy skills
- Support to progress up skill level - including into Functional Skills qualifications
- Can include help to develop mental arithmetic, estimation, percentages, fractions, ratios, etc, and the importance of data accuracy.
