Fly posting
We will remove banners, adverts and signs if they are in a public place and permission hasn't been given
Fly posting is illegal and we have a zero tolerance approach to it.
The rules
If you put a sign, placard, notice, leaflet, banner or anything similar which can be seen from the highway or any public place, you could be found guilty of fly posting. Enforcement is carried out by our officers on a regular basis.
Getting permission
If you or your organisation is seeking to display an advert or placard you should contact our planning team to see if planning consent is required first.
